Gain a global perspective with the WLSA / CHEER internship

The CHEER Foundation has a long-standing arrangement to provide students in their final year of undergraduate studies with an opportunity to work at our Amstelveen based office, where they can gain valuable work experience within an international non-profit environment. As an intern, students will gain hands-on experience working on a variety of tasks related to marketing, finance, international event management and office administration. 

 

 

Eligibility criteria:

​

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in the Netherlands (compulsory requirement).

  • Available to work 40 hours per week in our Amstelveen office, for a period of six months (1 September to 31 January / 1 February to 31 August)

  • Able to work in an environment where English is the operating language.

  • Be fluent in Chinese, as you will be a vital link between our NL and CH office.

  • A team player with strong social skills, initiative and attention to detail.

  • An interest in learning about education, business, communication, marketing and events.

  • The ability to multi-task and work independently.

  • Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of other software such as the Adobe Creative suite and social media platforms is advantageous.

  • This internship is a full-time engagement for a period of 6 months.

  • Students have the option to select a stipend payment or accommodation

  • Only applicants enrolled in undergraduate programs based in the Netherlands will be considered.

  • Only candidates able to enter into a full-time internship commitment should apply.
